In the past 18 years DWTLS has raised $2,556,000 with every dollar granted to programs that feed hungry families across Southern Oceana, Muskegon, and Northern Ottawa Counties. See who we’ve helped.

In 2026 alone, our community’s generosity raised $280,000!

Join us this year and help us push that total even higher!

Get ready to shake off the winter doldrums and join us for the 19th Annual Dancing with the Local Stars — an exhilarating night designed to entertain, inspire, and make a real difference. This February, we're rolling out the red carpet for An Evening at the Oscars — a glamorous, gold-and-glitz affair that blends Hollywood elegance with show-stopping fun in support of a great cause.

12 dazzling dance teams — local Pro Dancers paired with Community Stars — will light up the stage for 3 unforgettable shows. Cheer them on as they compete for coveted awards like Critic’s Choice, People’s Choice, Best of Show, Best Costume and Most Money Raised all while FUNdraising to support food-related agencies right here in our community.

It's the perfect way to have a great evening while contributing to a mission that truly matters. Don't miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary event — where every step, spin and samba helps fight hunger.

Glamour, glitz and fun for a good cause!

When: February 26 & 27, 2027
Friday and Saturday Evening Shows at 7:00 pm | Saturday Matinee at 1:00 pm

Where: VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center
460 West Western Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49440

It started with a simple question: how could the Women's Division Chamber of Commerce help feed the people in our community who needed it most?

Mary Kendall had the answer — a dance competition that would invite local leaders onto the stage and rally the whole community behind them. Dancing with the Local Stars was born in 2008, and it's grown stronger every year for 18 years!

What makes it work is simple: businesses, local leaders and the general public all in one room having fun for a cause that matters. Hunger is a serious issue in our community — and this is our favorite way to fight it.

We're forever grateful to our Pro Dancers, our Community Stars, our sponsors, our audiences and everyone who donates and cheers on their favorite team.

Making an impact in our community!

Dancing with the Local Stars is an annual fundraising event produced by the Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce. The Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce was started in 1951 by a group of visionary women who were dedicated to making a difference in our community. Over 200 members today continue the mission and goals established by those founders.

Mission: Working Together to Make a Difference in our Community

  • Leaving a legacy of enduring contributions to our community

Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce (WDCC) is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization founded in 1951 to promote our community and create civic awareness.
